The Elephant Coast is steeped in history and has many archaeological sites as well as sites of historical importance for the Zulu nation. There are still many places where the Zulu traditions are practised as a matter of daily routine and the local people can be seen weaving and making crafts. Visitors will not have to go far to discover something interesting but because the area is fairly under developed a little exploring may be needed....
